A well-known local accountancy company is set to double its workforce to 150 employees by 2026.
Formerly known as Accountant Online, the company has its headquarters at Letterkenny’s CoLab Building at ATU and has now rebranded to be known as Kinore.
Spearheaded by founder Larissa Feeney, Kinore currently has offices in Letterkenny, Dublin, Derry, and South Africa and has 76 employees.
It is a leading provider of accountancy and business support services and this transformation marks a significant milestone in the company’s journey, aligning its brand with its expanded service offerings and the evolving needs of its clients.
Since its inception, Kinore has experienced remarkable growth, boasting an average annual growth rate of 50% since 2017. This growth is a demonstration of the company’s ability to adapt and expand its services in response to the changing needs of its clients.
Kinore has successfully broadened its portfolio to include expertise in scaling businesses, digital transformation, and accessing finance. These additions have been driven by a growing demand from clients for guidance on how to expand their operations effectively.
“Our rebranding to Kinore is not just a change in name but a reflection of our evolution as a company,” said Larissa Feeney, founder of Kinore. “We have grown significantly over the years, and our new brand better represents the comprehensive business support we provide beyond traditional accountancy and bookkeeping services.”
Kinore is on a promising trajectory over the next three, with projections indicating that it is on track to deliver €15 million in revenue by 2028. This ambitious forecast underscores the company’s commitment to continued growth and innovation in the services it offers.
“Our financial performance and future projections are a clear indication of our commitment to growth and innovation,” Feeney added. “We are excited about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead as we continue to expand our service offerings and support our clients’ success.”
Kinore is a remote-first company, with 25% of its team based in Donegal, alongside offices in Dublin, Derry, and South Africa. Currently, Kinore boasts a team of 76 professionals, with plans to expand the team to 150 by 2026. This planned growth in personnel is indicative of the company’s ambition and its readiness to meet the increasing demand for its services.
Technology has been a cornerstone of the Kinore offering, enabling the company to capitalise on the shift towards digital professional services—a trend that has been accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Advances in customer relationship management and cloud technologies have enabled Kinore to service its clients more efficiently than traditional accountancy practices. This technological advantage is a key differentiator for Kinore, allowing it to offer superior service quality and responsiveness.
“Our embrace of remote work and technological advancements has been crucial to our success,” Feeney stated. “We are committed to leveraging technology to provide the best possible service to our clients, no matter where they are located.”
The transition from Accountant Online to Kinore is more than just a change of name, it signifies a strategic realignment with the company’s expanded capabilities and its vision for the future. The name Kinore reflects the company’s core values of kinship and strength, emphasising its mission to build strong, enduring relationships with clients.
“The name Kinore embodies our values of kinship and strength,” Feeney explained. “It represents our commitment to building strong, lasting relationships with our clients and providing them with the support they need to succeed.”
Despite the new branding, Kinore assures its clients that its commitment to excellence, integrity, and client satisfaction remains unwavering. Clients can expect the same high-quality service and expert guidance from Kinore’s dedicated team, underpinned by a fresh new look and a broader service offering designed to meet their evolving needs.
