On Thursday, 6th of June, ATU Donegal’s Letterkenny Campus will be buzzing with the enthusiasm and creativity of Early Years Educators and Primary Teachers as it hosts Teachmeet – Infant Edition!
This lively event, hosted by Maggie Green, Dr. Karen Patton, Zoe Graham, and Dennis Mulligan from the Department of Early Education and Social Studies, will kick off at 5.30pm and it promises to be an eventful evening of learning and innovation.
The Teachmeet will be opened by Dr. Nigel McKelvey, Head of Department of Early Education and Social Studies.
Teachmeets are well known for their informal and collaborative atmosphere and Teachmeet – Infant Edition is no exception. Participants will have the opportunity to attend short presentations designed to spark creativity. This is a unique opportunity for professionals and students to share insights, learn from one another and take away practical tips that can be used in Early Years Settings and Primary classrooms alike.
Teachmeet – Infant Edition is about fostering a community of learning and support. Whether you are an experienced educator or just starting out, this event is designed to inspire and equip you with new ideas and techniques to inform your own practice.
The evenings agenda includes presentations on innovative play-based learning techniques and creative approaches to inclusive teaching. Attendees will also have the chance to network and build connections with peers who share a passion for early childhood education.
