Met Éireann has upgraded its yellow thunderstorm warning to include Donegal.
The ‘moderate’ alert came into effect at 1pm and is valid until 9pm tonight.
It is forecasting heavy downpours and thunderstorms. Potential impacts include spot flooding, difficult traveling conditions and Poor visibility
Other affected Areas include Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Clare, Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford and Connacht.
Meanwhile, the UK Met Office issued a Yellow thunderstorm warning for Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone and Derry yesterday.
The warning came into force at 8am this morning and will be in place until 9pm.
