A ‘Woodland Wander’ will take place tomorrow in the beautiful Drumboe Woods, Stranorlar, to mark Biodiversity Week.
At the event, which takes place from 11am to 1pm, you can experience a tree from an arboriculturist’s eye with Shailagh Healy.
“Together we’ll muse the wondrous and intricate biological workings of trees and the myriad of ways they’ve influenced our lives through the years,” a spokesperson for the organisers said.
“And it’s for all. We will have hunt sheets for kids to use when out, but equally suitable for adults wanting to learn more about trees and woodlands.”
The event is suitable for families, but all children must be accompanied by an adult. Booking is essential by email to biodiversity@donegalcoco.ie
