Ryan McHugh is ‘Footballer of the Month’ for April

Donegal star Ryan McHugh has been crowned PwC/GPA Footballer of the Month award for April.

After taking a year out last year, the Kilcar man has been in flying form since the start of the season.

He was also magnificent as Donegal defeated both Derry and Tyrone in the Ulster Championship.

While he had somewhat of a quieter outing in Sunday’s Ulster Final against Armagh, he managed to do enough to stave off fellow nominees, Dublin’s Paul Mannion and Ryan O’Donoghue of Mayo.
