Update: Road reopened after car collides into ESB pole in Stranorlar

The Letterkenny road in Stranorlar has been reopened to traffic following a collision at lunchtime.

The crash adjacent to the Dunwiley junction at approx 1pm, when a vehicle collided with an ESB pole and fence.

Cables were damaged as a result of the collision.

The crash led to a temporary road closure and delays as workers made the area safe again.

The road reopened at approx 5pm.
