”I am Creative’ by the Department of Education is a pilot initiative of the Government of Ireland’s Department of Education (DE). The initiative is designed to explore ways in which teachers, artists, school leaders and Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) can collaborate towards enhancing the provision for arts education in Special Education (SE) settings.
The Principal and Staff of the Little Angels Special School said they are honoured to be a part of the ‘I Am Creative’ initiative, which was awarded to them by the Donegal Education Support Centre.
‘I am Creative’ is managed by the National Arts in Education Administrative Office at the Tralee Education Support Centre, under the direction of the National Director for the Integration of the Arts in Education. This Office also runs three other school-based initiatives involving creative practitioners and artists: TAP, BLAST and Creative Clusters.
