Roscommon 2-10 v 1-25 Donegal
Donegal’s hurlers delivered a dominant display in Roscommon today to secure their spot in the Nicky Rackard Cup Final.
The result was rarely in doubt after a slow start as Donegal were able to stamp on the accelerator from the 20 minute mark and never look back.
Donegal took a 1-13 to 0-08 lead into the half-time break, Declan Coulter grabbing the goal for Donegal I the 28th minute.
Momentum kept building for Donegal in the second half, despite Roscommon finding the back of the net with two of their four total second-half scores.
The dominant result sees Donegal through to the Nicky Rackard Cup Final with one group game left to spare, a fantastic reward for Manager Mickey McCann and his men.
