A 27.42-acre forestry in Donegal is being sold as part of a substantial forestry portfolio across eight Irish counties.
The plantation at Barnesmore is valued at a guide price of €235,000 and is available to purchase as an individual lot or within a combined portfolio of 11 plots valued at €7.5million.
The major listing by Lisney is targeting ESG (environmental, social and governance) investors looking for sustainable ventures.
Over 1,000 acres of forestry land have been brought to the market offering investors “stable returns while promoting environmental sustainability”.
The portfolio comprises 11 distinct plots with three in Wicklow, two in Kildare, one each in Louth, Westmeath, Galway, Cork, and Waterford, with the Barnesmore lot being the smallest.
“All lands have good accessibility with forestry roads in place and are planted with 18 species of trees with Sitka Spruce, Douglas Fir, Norway Spruce, Mixed Broadleaves & others. All trees are at various stages of maturity,” according to the listing.
