Staff of Scoil Mhuire Milford will hit the ground running at the Belfast Marathon this Sunday in a unique school fundraiser.
Ten dedicated staff members have formed two relay teams and are pounding the pavement all for a fantastic cause.
These marathoners are going the extra mile (or 26.2, to be exact!) to raise funds for much-needed equipment in their brand new autism classroom.
The money raised will help enhance and upgrade the facilities, benefitting not only the students in the autism class but the entire school community.
The staff making the incredible commitment are: Sharon Peoples, Liam McLaughlin, Laura Law, Darina Ferry, Fionnuala McGrath, Peter Doherty, Brona Harley, Eimear Doherty, Mark Mc Conigley, and Caoimhe Blaney.
If you’re out along the course on Sunday, be sure to show your support and cheer them on. If you would like to contribute please visit: https://www.gofundme.com/f/db6329-belfast-marathon-20244
