The volunteer Bundoran RNLI has issued a water safety appeal ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend.
“If you are heading out on the water over the Bank Holiday weekend, always remember to put good water safety into practice,” a spokesperson said..
“Check your equipment before heading out to sea and take a means of calling for help in case you get into difficulty.”
Meanwhile, Lough Swilly RNLI held a successful information evening for prospective volunteers at Ned’s Point, Buncrana, last night.
However, the door is still open for those that couldn’t make it. If you message their Facebook page with your email address, they can send you out an information pack.
