The Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter is getting ready to hold its 2024 Annual General Meeting this month.
The AGM is open to the local community, as well as local stakeholders to shape the future of the Cathedral Quarter’s development into the future.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter organisation, with the AGM giving the local community a chance to contribute to the future of the area.
“We are thrilled to invite all members of the community to join us for our AGM,” said a Cathedreal Quarter spokesperson.
“This event is not only an opportunity to celebrate our decade of accomplishments but also a chance to engage in meaningful dialogue about the future direction of our beloved quarter. Together, we can continue to build a thriving, inclusive community that showcases the rich culture and heritage of Letterkenny.”
“Year on year the project goes from strength and we are seeking people with expertise in events, public relations, fundraising and webpage design in particular but encourage anyone with an interest to come along.”
“We host an annual programme of events including St Brigid’s Day Crossmaking, Street Feast, Heritage Week, Culture Night, our Literary Festival and the Letterkenny Carol Trail. To celebrate our tenth anniversary, we have hosted an Easter Craft Fair and we will be facilitating an Argentinean Tango Dance Demonstration and Workshop with Buenos Aires natives Elizabeth Cordone and Matias Rivas.”
“If you feel would like to contribute to this dynamic innovative project, come along to our AGM in Dillons Hotel on Monday, 13th May at 8pm. Play your part in this exciting chapter of Letterkenny. All are welcome.”
