Derry 0-17 v 4-11 Donegal
Donegal have sealed their place in the Semi Finals of the Ulster Championship after a brilliant win over Derry in Celtic Park this evening.
Jim McGuinness’ return to the Donegal touchline in the Championship resulted in an emphatic win over old rival Mickey Harte and his Derry side.
It was a tightly fought contest in the first half, but a brilliant brace of goals from Daire Ó Baoill catching the Derry ‘keeper off his line twice gave Donegal momentum, and left the home fans with heads in hands.
Oisín Gallen then slotted home a penalty soon after, and Jamie Brennan once again caught Derry’s goalkeeper napping to snatch Donegal’s fourth goal.
