If you’re having a chicken fillet roll for lunch today then you’re certainly not alone.
The snack is officially Ireland’s favourite lunch, with 41% voting it their top food “to go” in a new survey.
The research was carried out by retailer Circle K.
The humble chicken fillet roll streaked in ahead of other lunchtime rival such as such as chicken and stuffing (14%), BLT (14%) and chicken caesar (13%).
A total of 1,000 people were surveyed for the tasty survey by 3Gem last month.
The survey also found that a staggering 92% of the public buy food while on the go at least once a month, and 28% enjoy food to go several times a week.
