The North West 10k just got a whole lot brighter!
A brand new t-shirt colour has been revealed, fueling the excitement for the 27th annual charity run and walk on Monday 6th of May in Letterkenny.
Chairperson Neil Martin is asking runners and walkers to enter online here and support three very worthy charities – the Kilmacrennan, Termon, Gartan, Churchill and Trentagh Community First Responders, Cara House Family Resource Centre and the Letterkenny Community Childcare Centre.
All participants will get a free T-shirt for registering, with pick-ups provided in Letterkenny throughout the weekend before the event.
“We have a new colour of t-shirt never used before in the North West 10k. It could be described either as a ‘duck egg’ blue or green. It looks good and we did the launch earlier this week. So it’s an ideal opportunity for, runners, walkers and families to be part of another big charity event wearing the brand new colour of t-shirt.
“I want to thank again our five sponsors Brian McCormick Intersport, the Value Centre, the Mount Errigal Hotel, Century Complex and Donegal Daily for their continued support in 2024,” Mr Martin said.
The next fundraiser is in the Arena 7 where there is a Quiz Night from 9-11pm on this Thursday 11th of April. Friday 12th April there will be an Over 40s football match at Leckview Park, kick-off 7.30.
At the Old Dunnes Stores and Simpsons Store Letterkenny on Saturday 20th April there will be ticket selling from 9am to 5pm.
On Saturday 27th of April there will be a Night at the Races in the Swilly Inn Letterkenny from 8-10pm.
A Ladies Night will take place on Friday 17th of May in the Letterkenny Community Childcare Centre from 7.30-10pm.
The 27th North West 10k will take place on Bank Holiday Monday the 6th of May in Letterkenny. Online entries are now being taken by going to https://www.njuko.net/nw_10k_2024 where runners and walkers will find all the information required. Sponsorship cards are available from committee members and the benefitting charities.
