The North West 10k charities are thrilled to announce that last week’s fashion show raised an amazing €6,475!
The glamorous event in the Radisson Blu hotel in Letterkenny saw local personalities stepping out of their comfort zones and onto the catwalk to showcase the new season styles from local brands and boutiques.
Thanks to the generous spirit of the attendees, the event raised a wonderful total that will be added to the funding pot for Kilmacrennan, Termon, Gartan, Churchill and Trentagh Community First Responders, Cara House Family Resource Centre and the Letterkenny Community Childcare Centre.
The fashion show wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of a phenomenal team of volunteers from the charities. A big thank you goes to the MCs, podcasters Vinny and Marty, for keeping the energy high, and to DJ Ois Bosh for setting the perfect soundtrack for the evening.
The organisers extend their gratitude to guest host Emma Murray Stylist for her expertise and superb presenting. Special thanks are also due to the Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny, for generously donating the venue.
Appreciation is further extended to the Irish dancers from Doherty Petri School of Irish Dancing and Mr Majestic who undoubtedly added a touch of magic to the night.
The North West 10k charities express their sincere gratitude to their sponsors: Cllr. Donal ‘Mandy’ Kelly, Cllr Ciaran Brogan, Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council Martin Harley, Ian Harkin, Cllr Gerry McMonagle, and Killian McLaughlin from Wild Ireland. Their support is instrumental in making a difference.
