Last night’s North West 10k Fashion Show was a memorable night of fashion, fun and fundraising.
Local personalities stepped out of their comfort zones and onto the catwalk of the Radisson BLU Letterkenny, raising money for this year’s three North West 10K charities.
The night saw a fantastic mix of familiar faces swapping their usual attire to strut their stuff.
Models in the spotlight included Donegal GAA Chairperson and former Tanaiste, Mary Coughlan, Garda Chief Superintendent Goretti Sheridan, Cllr Niamh Kennedy, Miss Earth Ireland Layla Doherty, Finn Harps Manager Darren Murphy, Boxer Jason Quigley, Model Aine McBrearty, Donegal Mary Clare O’Donnell, Donegal Daily’s Rachel McLaughlin, and Nicola Dunnion from ATU Donegal.
Guests got a look at the new season styles from Clare Clothing, Pure Boutique, The Gray Room, Pamela Scott, The Sequin Cinderella, Sarah Lorraine, Michael Murphy Sports, and Finn Harps Supporters Shop.
Virgin Media Stylist Emma Murray kept everyone well informed with expert fashion advice, while podcasters Vinny and Marty were up to their usual antics as MCs! DJ Ois Bosh had the tunes flowing as the soundtrack to the fun evening. Guests were also treated to excellent entertainment from Doherty Petri School of Irish Dancing and Mr Majestic.
The entire event raised money for three fantastic local charities which are this year’s beneficiaries of the North West 10k. These include Kilmacrennan, Termon, Gartan, Churchill, and Trentagh Community First Responders, Cara House Family Resource Centre, and the Letterkenny Community Childcare Centre.
