There are two further charity fundraisers in aid of the three North West 10k beneficiary charities this week.
The three charities this year are the Kilmacrennan, Termon, Gartan, Churchill and Trentagh Community First Responders, Cara House Family Resource Centre and the Letterkenny Community Childcare Centre.
They are continuing fundraising events in the build-up to the big event itself on the Bank Holiday Monday the 6th of May in Letterkenny.
The next fundraiser is this Thursday, April 4th at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny where there will be a Fashion Show from 7.30 pm to 10 pm.
On this Sunday, April 7th there is a Coffee Morning from 12 noon to 4 pm in the An Craoibhin Termon. Arena 7 will host a Quiz Night from 9-11pm on Thursday 11th of April. Friday 12th April there will be an Over 40s football match at Leckview Park, kick-off 7.30. At the Old Dunnes Stores and Simpsons Store Letterkenny on Saturday 20th April there will be ticket selling from 9am to 5pm. On Saturday 27th of April there will be a Night at the Races in the Swilly Inn Letterkenny from 8-10pm. A Ladies Night will take place on Friday 17th of May in the Letterkenny Community Childcare Centre from 7.30-10pm.
The 27th North West 10k will take place on Bank Holiday Monday the 6th of May in Letterkenny. Entries are being taken online for a charity event that has raised over €931,000 since the Northwest 10k started in 1997, benefitting 38 charity organisations.
Runners and walkers are now being urged to get registered. Spread the word to support the Northwest 10k charities of 2024. Online entries are now being taken for the May 6th event by going to https://www.njuko.net/nw_10k_2024 where runners and walkers will find all the information required. Sponsorship cards are available from committee members and the benefitting charities.
