Gardaí seized drugs worth an estimated €26,650 throughout the searches on Sunday.

The operation began in the Letterkenny area, where a person was detained by the Donegal Divisional Drugs Unit and a quantity of cannabis was uncovered.

A follow-up search took place in Ramelton. There, officers seized a substantial haul of illegal drugs, including Cannabis (€25,000), MDMA (€840), Ketamine (€600) and Cocaine (€210).

Two people were arrested during the operation and charged with drug offences. They were held overnight and will appear before Letterkenny District Court this morning.
