The Letterkenny Shopping Centre is hosting a fun-filled charity Spinathon this Saturday!
Come down and cheer on the valiant volunteers from 10am to 4pm as they spin for this year’s fantastic North West 10K charities:
- Kilmacrennan, Termon, Gartan, Churchill and Trentagh Community First Responders
- Cara House Family Resource Centre
- Letterkenny Community Childcare Centre
It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a fun atmosphere, learn more about the charities and cheer on your favourite spinners.
Call in to help make a difference, one pedal stroke at a time!
There is also a Bucket Collection at the Millbridge, Kilmacrennan on Monday 1st of April from 10am to 4pm.
From races to raffles, here’s a preview of all the 10K fundraisers in store for the coming months:
North West 10k Chairperson Neil Martin said a lot of work has been put in by the three charities to try and maximise the amount of money that they raise by organising an impressive number of events. “It’s a team effort involving the three charities working together to raise much needed money that will help them continue their good work.
“So it would be great to see the public supporting these three very worthy causes at the various fundraisers.”
People are now being urged to get registered, get training and get the word out to support the Northwest 10k charities of 2024. Online entries are now being taken for May’s event by going to https://www.njuko.net/nw_10k_2024 where runners and walkers will find all the information required. Sponsorship cards are available from committee members and the benefitting charities.
