Accounts Administrator (Part time)
Job Ref No: SD/AA/03/24
Reporting to the Financial Controller the Accounts Administrator will be responsible for providing financial and administrative assistance to the Finance Department.
The Role:
- Maintaining the document management system;
- Processing supplier/customer invoices, credit notes and payments;
- Daily bank lodgements and reconciling bank/credit card transactions;
- Posting accounts journals to the general ledger on a timely basis;
- Preparing monthly reports for management and Revenue returns;
- Providing support for other financial duties delegated by management.
The Person:
- Have strong IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office applications, in particular MS Excel;
- Able to work effectively both on your own initiative and also within a busy team;
- Possess excellent organisational, time management and interpersonal skills; #
- Have excellent attention to detail and a high numerical understanding;
- Ideally have relevant experience working in a finance role, but not essential, as training will be provided;
- A business-related qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
The successful candidate should be reliable, efficient, motivated and be able to work as part of a team.
Candidates should have a good standard of education, the ability to complete accurate documentation and good communication skills.
This role is part-time 22.5 hours per week and days of work can be discussed with the successful candidate.
