Planning permission is being sought for the reinstatement of part of an old railway line in east Donegal.
Bernard Diver has lodged plans with Donegal County Council for the works at Drumcairn, Manorcunningham.
The proposed development includes the reduction of ground levels and the reinstatement of part of the former railway line.
The old Manorcunningham Station (main pic) first opened in 1883 when the Londonderry and Lough Swilly Railway company extended their line from Tooban Junction to Letterkenny. However, the station closed for the last time in 1953.
