Man injured in late-night assault on Bank Holiday

A man was injured in Ballintra after an alleged assault by two other men in the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday morning.

Gardaí are investigating the incident at Main Street, Ballintra, shortly before 1.30am yesterday.

The seriousness of the victim’s injuries is not known.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the assault or who has any relevant information to come forward. You can contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon at 071-9858530.
