Gweedore man Declan McBride hits the road in style with his brand-new 2024 Citroen e-C4!
Declan was the lucky winner of the national car raffle by the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The winning ticket was drawn in February by Pádraig O’Sullivan T.D.. The charity’s Chief Executive, Tim O’Mahony made contact with Declan who was overwhelmed with the good news. Declan happily collected the keys last week.
“A massive thank you to all our volunteers who helped to make the raffle another fantastic success. We simply could not do this without them,” the charity said.
“Our Car Raffle is an integral part of our fundraising and allows us to continue #ChangingLives.”
Health to enjoy, Declan!
Every little bit of support counts, helping the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind (IGDB) enable people who are vision impaired and families of children with autism to achieve improved mobility and independence.
The Donegal Branch of the charity is very active across local communities, raising awareness, caring for puppies in training and raising funds.
Volunteers are always needed, from fundraising volunteers, to puppy raisers, to temporary boarders, there are loads of opportunities. Find out about the different roles available: https://buff.ly/3zD1y9r or follow the Facebook page at Irish Guide Dogs Donegal Branch
