Job Vacancy: The Mevagh Family Resource Centre, Downings, is recruiting for the role of Project Administrator.
Overall purpose of the position: To support the voluntary Board of Directors, staff and community leaders to follow through the aims, objectives and actions of Mevagh Family Resource Centre in response to the needs of children and families.
The Project Administrator will control and monitor the overall financial expenditure of the project and organise the administration of its service. The Project Administrator will report to the Project Manager. The post is 35 hours per week.
The successful candidate will have:
- At least three years proven work experience in a financial and administrative role.
- A recognised relevant qualification in accounts.
- An in-depth knowledge and experience of working with Sage Accounting software, within the last two years.
- Experience of budgeting, financial record keeping and compiling financial reports.
- Experience of computerised payroll systems and reporting to Revenue.
- Experience in end of year procedures and preparations for yearly audit.
- Wide knowledge of computer programmes and applications.
- Strong secretarial skills and experience of working in an administrative capacity.
- Knowledge of Social Media management.
- Excellent reception skills and experience of dealing with the public.
- Good interpersonal skills, be able to operate flexibly and work within a team environment.
- Good time-management and organisation skills.
- Ability to always maintain data confidentiality.
Salary, commensurate with qualifications and experience, will be from €34,133 to €36,141.
