Donegal County Council has just published a previously unseen picture of some of its staff members from 1959.
The photograph, recently donated to the County Archives, shows workers in front of the County House, Lifford, and also a list of names of staff provided. The moment was captured at the retirement of Co. Secretary, Frank McKay.
“Many thanks to the kindness of the donor, we greatly appreciate such generous and thoughtful donations to the County Archives,” a council spokesperson said.
