The doors of Fort Dunree will open for St. Patrick’s Day as the museum launches its daily schedule.

If you’re looking for a great day out this Bank Holiday weekend, visit Fort Dunree. Located on the west coast of the Inishowen Peninsula in Donegal, the military museum and site offers visitors a unique and enriching experience.

Fort Dunree houses a fascinating military museum that showcases artifacts, exhibits and interactive displays related to the fort’s history and Ireland’s military heritage.  Visitors can explore restored barracks, artillery pieces and underground bunkers, gaining insights into the lives of soldiers stationed there over the years.
