Donegal minors overcame the challenge of Fermanagh in their Ulster Minor League opener at MacCumhaill Park last night.
Barry Ward’s side eventually ran out 2-9 to 0-5 winners after a slow start.
Both siders were cautious and opted for long periods of defensive football but Donegal eventually found their scoring boots.
Conor McCahill with four points and Alex Cunnea with a goal and a point were top scorers for Donegal.
