St Columba’s Comprehensive, Glenties, was crowned Ulster U-20 Senior Girls schools champions today after a thrilling win over Bailieborough of Cavan.

The Glenties girls had almost ten points to spare this afternoon in Bawnacre, Irvinestown, where Cora Doherty was also awarded the Player of the Match for her performance.

Captained by Mia Bennet, the Donegal side went in 1-10 to 1-07 up at the break in a tight first half. However, they  never looked back after that and ran out eventual winners on a scoreline of 3-16 to 2-10.
