Planning permission has been approved for an extension to the Donegal Hospice, as well as other works.
The new plans were granted by Donegal County Council this week.
It will include provision for four new apartments to be constructed on the hospice grounds for use by patients and families.
There will also be extra rooms build for additional facilities and services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy and social work.
Plans also include adding additional training and educational facilities, as well as refurbishing and modernising the Hospice so it can best serve its patients.
