The Abbey Vocational School senior boys’ team has made an historic Paddy Drummond Cup All-Ireland Final.
The Donegal Town schoolboys defeated Dunmore CS of Galway this afternoon at Kent Park in County Sligo by a superb scoreline of 2-17 to 1-12.
Abbey VS have continued their superb run that began with a string of wins in the Ulster Championship, leading to a brilliant MacLarnon Cup win two weeks ago against Our Lady and St Patrick’s Knock – becoming only the fourth Donegal school to achieve that feat.
They’ll now have a chance to take home an improbable All-Ireland title.
