The Kilcar GAA Club Centenary Celebrations launch night will take place next month.
The event will be held in Áislann Chill Chartha on Friday, March 15th, at 8pm to mark 100 years of GAA in the area, from 1924-2024.
“Join us for a night of history and nostalgia as we celebrate the history of our club,” a club spokesperson said.
“With guest speakers, old footage, photos and club items from over the years and lots more, it’s a night not to be missed for all supporters, former players and anyone with a love of the GAA and local history.”
Refreshments will be served and all welcome!! If anyone has old memorabilia, old jerseys, boots, newspaper articles and photos etc that they would allow the club to show on the night, please contact one of the following: James 087-1632797 or Paul 087-2610308.
“We will scan and return any item that’s given to us,” the spokesperson added.
