The team at Waterworld, Bundoran’s indoor adventure playground, has confirmed it will reopen next month for the new season.
The popular facility will be back with a splash on Thursday March 28, at 11am.
The opening will take in the Easter break and see the waterpark opening for 11 days. It will return with all the great features including the Whizzer, Twister and Gravity speed slides, the three lane multi slide, pirate’s galleon ship, toddler pool and of course the famous wave pool and rapids.
The facility will be open for 4 x 2.15 hour slots each day and these may be booked from Monday 4th of March at 11am for the Easter period.
Chairperson of Bundoran Waterworld CLG, Councillor Micheal McMahon, says he is looking forward to seeing one of the town’s most popular tourism attractions reopened for 2024.
“Waterworld is a huge driver for the town in terms of attracting families and it’s great to have an opening date for it for this Easter,” he said.
“Preparations for this season have been ongoing since we closed last September – it really is an all-year-round operation. I’d like to commend the work of General Manager, Aine Temple, and her team in working tirelessly to ensure a timely opening just in time for the Easter period.”
Ms Temple added they are expecting the 11 days over Easter to be busy, so she would ‘absolutely recommend’ to everyone considering a visit to book their slot as soon as they are sure of their dates.
Bookings for Easter can be made on https://www.waterworldbundoran.com/booking/ from Monday March 4th at 11am.
