A man has been charged with seven counts of dangerous driving during a chase through various townlands in Ballyshannon.
Mark Jackson was before Friday’s sitting of Ballyshannon District Court.
The 34-year-old, with an address at Drumfinn Avenue, Ballyfermot in Dublin, is charged with dangerous driving offences in the townlands of Coolcholly, Cherrymount, Sminver, Ballinacarrick, Ballyhanna, Town Parks and Camp.
Jackson is also charged with sticking his fingers up to gardai in the townland of Coolcholly.
Judge Patricia Cronin made an order directing that disclosure be made to Jackson’s solicitor, Mr Gerry McGovern.
Inspector Angela Cummins agreed with the adjournment of the case until May 3.
Legal aid was granted to Mr McGovern.
