Snow is expected in the north west later this week as a cold front pushes down over Ireland and the UK.
Temperatures will drop below freezing each night from Tuesday onwards, bringing risks of frost and ice.
Wednesday could see the arrival of snow on higher ground, with temperatures staying low as the week progresses.
Met Eireann is forecasting very cold and wintry conditions throughout the second half of next week, with a combination of sleet, snow and lows of -2C at night.
Today, Bank Holiday Monday, will be mostly cloudy with patches of drizzle and mist. More persistent rain will develop in the northwest during the evening.
It will be wet tonight as rain spreads southeast across the rest of Ulster, turning heavy at times.
