If you spotted strange lights in the evening sky last night, you’re not alone.
And no, it wasn’t aliens!
The lights, which appear in a straight line, are new Starlink satellites launched by SpaceX to provide internet connection worldwide.
Twenty-two Starlinks flew low in the sky over Ireland at 5.51pm and again at 7.24pm.
Starlink by SpaceX, the company founded by Elon Musk, is the world’s first and largest satellite constellation using a low Earth orbit to deliver broadband.
The constellation now has more than 5,300 satellites on orbit.
There were also reports of a fireball over Donegal at 2.51pm on Monday afternoon, did you see anything? Let us know: info@donegaldaily.com
