All members of the community are invited along to make St Brigid’s crosses on Wednesday evening at Bruckless National School from 7 to 8pm.
Fr. Brady will also be present in order to bless them.
This proved a lovely social event last year. Tea and biscuits will be provided.
Please spread the word as this is a community event and not just for those associated with the school.
St Patrick’s Parade
Dunkineely Community Ltd will be holding an open meeting to discuss plans for this year’s Dunkineely St Patrick’s Parade.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday, 31 st January, at 7:30pm in MacLaughlin’s Dunkineely. All are welcome.
Last year’s parade was a big success, bringing crowds of people into town. If you want to be part of this great event, come along and have your say.

Active Retirement
The Killaghtee Active Retirement Association meets every second Wednesday at the Dunkineely GAA Centre and welcomes visitors wanting to know about the group and its activities, as well as those individuals wishing to become members. The Late Rose Diver
The death has occurred of Rose Diver (nee Gavigan) Birmingham and formerly of Bollywogs, Bruckless.
Peacefully at the Hartlands Hospital Birmingham. Predeceased by husband Phonsie Diver, sisters Marie, Monica (Belfast) and twin sister Josephine (Coventry). Sadly missed by Sisters Joan Bruke and Elizabeth Egan (both Coventry), nephews, nieces and friends.
May She Rest In Peace. Funeral Mass was in St. Mary’s Church, Killybegs, followed by burial in the local cemetery afterwards.
