Met Eireann has issued a status yellow warning for cold weather nationwide.
The cold weather warning comes into effect this evening at 7pm, and is expected to be in place until 11am on Monday morning.
The national forecaster is warning of icy patches, freezing fog as well as sleet or snowfall in places as well overnight.
They have also warned of poor travelling conditions on the roads.
