The local community in Carrigans is appealing for a driver who hit multiple walls to own up.
Carrigans Tidy Towns posted images of the damage caused earlier this week on social media, with two walls in the village having sections destroyed by what clearly appears to have been a car driving through them.

The Tidy Towns committee says the damage was caused some time on Friday, and have appealed to the motorist involved to come forward to them and help cover the cost of the wall damage.
“Some destruction in Carrigans sometime on Friday, section of walls on both sides of road beside Murray Tiles demolished. Tyre tracks evident in grass, how the driver managed to hit both walls is beyond us, if it was a genuine accident.”
“Would the driver please fix or pay towards fixing the walls (give anonymously), else it will be down to Tidy Towns to fix out of the good peoples’ donations.”
