Advice has been issued for dog owners, as the spring lambing season is upcoming.
The advice has been given by Donegal County Council, particularly for those who enjoy taking their dogs for a walk in the countryside as lambing season is upcoming in the next few weeks.
They’ve reminded the public to be responsible when walking their dogs during the lambing season, to keep animals on farms safe as well as their own dogs.
Dog owners are being asked to ensure dogs are kept on a lead or in effective control.
They are also being reminded to pay active attention to where your dog is at all times when out walking them, and also to ensure the dog does not cause a nuisance.
