Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland are running a national series of in-person workshops for parents/carers of young people aged from seven years upwards beginning in January 2024.

The ‘Skills for Everyday Living’ event takes place in Donegal on Saturday 20th January, at the Station House Hotel Lower Main Street Letterkenny from 10.30am – 4.30pm.

The event is organised by the Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland organisation and is facilitated by Dr Dorothy Armstrong who is an expert occupational therapist specialising in Neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD, Developmental Coordination Disorder / Dyspraxia).

Each workshop will include Presentations, Groupwork, Discussions, Shared Learning and Lived Experience Perspectives to ensure that all learning styles are catered for.

Please note – These workshops are not suitable for children to attend

Donegal Dyspraxia Support Group founder and local mother Alison Doherty said, “it’s a great opportunity for parents/carers to learn and hear more about Dyspraxia DCD and it’s great that it is being held in Donegal. So if this is something that may interest you, book your ticket online and come along on the day.”

The cost is €50 for members and €60 for non-members to include morning tea and lunch
