A new programme has been launched at Letterkenny University Hospital with a view to preventing crime within the hospital.
Hospital Watch operates as a partnership between An Garda Síochána, the HSE, staff, patients and visitors with the aim of preventing crime within the hospital setting.
The programme was launched on Wednesday last and coincided with a security review at the hospital.
Local Gardaí help with the setting up of the programme and with providing support and crime prevention advice.
