Two men injured in Mountcharles collision

Two men were taken to hospital following a road collision on the N56 at Mountcharles on Wednesday evening.

The two-vehicle crash occurred at around 6.40pm.

One man aged in his 30s and another aged in his 20s were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The road was closed for a period as emergency services worked at the scene.

“Investigations are ongoing,” said a garda spokesperson.
