Letterkenny got a dose of Christmas excitement yesterday when the ‘Light Up Letterkenny’ run rolled through the town.
A huge turnout of lorries, tractors and cars were decked out in dazzling lights to toot across the town centre.
The weather threatened to dull spirits earlier in the day, but the motoring community was determined to put on a spectacle and turned out in huge numbers.
The annual event is organised by Bernard Gallagher and co at CBM Signs to raise funds for Donegal Hospice and Blood Bikes North West.
The event was another huge success that wouldn’t be possible without the support of all who entered and who helped in any way.
Bernard said: “Thanks to everybody for coming along everyone seemed to have a great night!!
“Thanks to Mark on the Garda Bike and his team for getting us all around the route and home safe again.
“There are so many people to thank that make this happen each year.”
