Met Eireann has issued several severe weather warnings for County Donegal as Storm Elin is set to hit the country this weekend.
A status orange wind warning for Donegal will come into effect at 2pm this afternoon, with Met Eireann warning of gale force winds and severe gusts, causing disruption, travelling difficulties, and the potential for wave overtopping.
That warning has also been combined with a yellow weather warning for rain in the county, with the national forecaster warning of spells of heavy rain this afternoon and this evening combined with the strong winds.
Orange warnings have also been issued in Dublin and Wicklow, with a yellow warning issued to cover the entirety of Connacht and Leinster today.
A yellow warning has also been issued by the Met Office for the entirety of the North ahead of the storm.
