People in Donegal and nationwide are being asked to lace up their running shoes this Christmas in aid of charity.
The GOAL Mile charity run event aims to raise money for disadvantaged people in some of the most vulnerable countries in Africa, the Middle East and South America – all by walking or running a mile.
Runs are taking place across the country, with the two GOAL Mile events in Donegal taking place at Mountcharles Pier on Christmas Day, between 12pm and 2pm, and at Pairc Aodh Ruadh in Ballyshannon on the 29th of December, between 11am and 2pm.
