Killybegs man Seamus Coleman reclaimed his place in the starting line-up for Everton last night as the Toffess thumped Newcastle 3-0.

Christmas came early for the Ireland skipper had been out of commission since May after suffering a knee injury in a Premier League meeting with Leicester City.

Coleman was included from the start against the Magpies and played over an hour of the tie at Goodison Park.

There were scenes of raucous celebrations after the final whistle and it was Coleman who found himself in the middle of it all.

In a clip posted on social media by the Premier League club, the 35-year-old could be seen giving some passionate fist pumps to the jam-packed Gwladys Street End.
