Met Éireann has issued a yellow ‘moderate’ wind warning for Donegal today.
It says it will be ‘very windy’ for a time today, with southeast winds gusting up to 100km/h in some areas. Potential impacts include difficult travelling conditions, fallen branches and weakened trees.
The alert relates to Donegal, Galway, Sligo and Leitrim and is valid from 2pm this afternoon until 8pm.
