A man has been arrested in connection with a series of thefts from Letterkenny businesses in September.

A series of businesses were targetted during the spree in mid-September.

Detective Gardaí from Letterkenny travelled to Dublin over the weekend as part of the investigation.

One man was arrested, detained, interviewed and he was then charged to appear at an upcoming sitting of Letterkenny District Court.

“Our enquiries will continue in relation to these incidents,” said a garda spokesperson.
