Clerical staff stage lunchtime protest at Letterkenny Hospital

HSE clerical and admin staff in the Forsa trade union staged a protest outside Letterkenny University Hospital this afternoon in a dispute over the recruitment ban.

Workers gave up their lunchtime to call for an end to the HSE’s recruitment freeze.

The union says that vital posts across the health service are still unfilled heading into the winter surge.

Their call to HSE senior management seeks an end to outsourcing, overspending and a lack of focus on sustainable services.
